We just launched an Indiegogo Campaign to help us finish our recording project. We’ve been working hard in the studio for the last several months, but we need your support to complete the EP and produce the physical CDs.

Check out our campaign and please be as generous as you can. If you can’t donate, we would really appreciate it you would share the link:

On Saturday, September 6th we’re opening for Chicago Afrobeat Project ft/Tony Allen¬†at The Rex Theater!¬†Doors at 7pm. Show at 8pm. Tickets available here:¬†Showclix.com.

CAP VH PosterChicago Afrobeat Project frequently reinvents itself within a genre first pioneered by Fela Kuti. The group’s latest release Nyash Up! shows the group redefining their signature version of afrobeat by incorporating elements of hip-hop, orchestra-like musical arrangement, and stylistic explorations of rock, jazz and funk.

We will be opening up the night and playing new original music from our forthcoming EP.

Hope to see you!

This has been an amazing year! We’ve played with so many awesome musicians, recorded a demo, and started planning for our first EP. ¬†There is so much to be thankful for.

As great as 2013 was, 2014 is already shaping up to be even better. In January, we’ll start working in earnest on the EP project with producers, James Johnson III and Ryan Tedder, posting our progress with videos and pictures along the way.

As we wrap up this year, here’s a look back at our favorite moments of 2013 ‚̧
